New Building 2015 – Adult Day Care Center

This 4,290 sq. ft. Adult Memory Day Care facility is designed specifically for the needs of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. The design emulates that of a home environment that is warm, comfortable and welcoming. The facility consists of a front foyer, coat room, office, meeting rooms, two full bathrooms, a toilet room, laundry/storage room, full kitchen and a gathering room with an electric double sided fireplace. It also features a sunroom, a covered patio and a full drive under canopy.

This facility is designed for the day care needs of people with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias and not intended for overnight stays. The program offers an opportunity for people to continue to reside in a community while providing support and respite to their caregivers.

The project included complete building design services, including structural, architectural, civil, mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
